Hi everyone,

Well, the feminist movement sure gave us something. I’m still trying to figure out exactly what the best “something” was that they gave us. Oh yeah! A voice. Oops! Didn’t they realise that the voices of some who should shut up would be amplified above anything that was going to be ultimately good for women?  I think feminism in itself has lost the plot. Women have become empowered, they can work their guts out now just like a man. As in the 90’s movie Titantic the character of Rose expresses herself as being able to “spit like a man”. Wow! Such freedom. I think I’ll pass on that one. At least we don’t all have to keep “silent in the churches” anymore. Personally, I feel that’s a step forward. 🤣

When it comes to today’s feminism, some young miscreants think it’s their right to tear down statues and the like, defacing them and making some kind of virtue statement while ruining other people’s property. And when it comes to defacing a statue of a Jewish feminist in support of feminists, I can only scratch and shake my head. Some women also think it’s fun to swerve their cars at Jewish people on the street. As I’ve said before, Karma is such a b—-h that they won’t even see what YeHoVaH has in store for those who “touch the apple of His eye”.

“ ( Mar. 30, 2026 / JNS ) The Victoria Police in Australia arrested and charged seven women on suspicion of damaging the statue of Jewish feminist Zelda D’Aprano (1928-2018) outside the Victorian Trades Hall earlier in March, police said on Friday.
“It’s alleged the women—who are all part of an activist group—attended Victoria Street at approximately 11 a.m. with umbrellas and red spray paint” on March 6, the statement on the police’s website read.

The suspects held the umbrellas up in an attempt to block street cameras and avoid being identified, according to Victoria Police. They then allegedly defaced the statue of the “iconic Melbourne women’s rights campaigner.”

The suspects are aged from 34 to 71 and have been charged with “a range of offences including criminal damage, behaving in a riotous manner in a public place, marking graffiti on a residence without consent, recklessly damaging part of a registered place without a permit and refusing to leave scheduled public place after a warning.”

Six of the women were freed on bail and ordered to appear before Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on Oct. 1, 2026.

Police are looking for an eighth accomplice, who is also part of the activist group.

D’Aprano was an Australian feminist activist, with most of her activities conducted from the ‘50s to the ‘80s. She went on to co-found the Women’s Action Committee in 1970, which led to the formation of the Women’s Liberation Movement in Melbourne. The statue in her honor was unveiled in 2023.

Meanwhile, police in Australia are searching for a female and three possible accomplices, who on March 25 allegedly swerved a stolen vehicle threateningly at a group of Jews in Melbourne, Jewish community representatives said.

“Australian Jews should be able to walk down the street without being abused, yet for many, that’s no longer the reality,” Robert Gregory, CEO of the Australian Jewish Association, told JNS following the incident.”

“( Mar. 29, 2026 / JNS ) Police in Australia are searching for a female and three possible accomplices, who on March 25 allegedly swerved a stolen vehicle threateningly at a group of Jews in Melbourne on Wednesday, Jewish community representatives said.

“J-Wire, a Jewish-Australian news site, reported that the Community Security Group Victoria, the Jewish community security group of the Australian state whose capital is Melbourne, reported the incident to police. Security forces are searching for the driver and passengers of a black Hyundai sedan stolen from the suburb of Caulfield on March 25, the report said. The Australian newspaper reported that someone in the car hurled antisemitic abuse at the would-be victims.

“No arrests have been made, and police have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage from the Glen Eira Road area, J-Wire reported.

“Robert Gregory, CEO of the Australian Jewish Association, told JNS the group was aware of a video taken “following yesterday evening’s incident in Melbourne where a vehicle was reported to have swerved toward members of the Jewish community while occupants shouted antisemitic remarks.”

“The person filming can be heard saying, “They’re coming back,” Gregory noted. The comment, which was heard in a video of the incident that circulated on social media, underlined the fear that many Australians Jews feel after the Dec. 14 massacre at Bondi Beach in Sydney, where a jihadist killed 14 people at a Chanukah party.

““Australian Jews should be able to walk down the street without being abused, yet for many, that’s no longer the reality,” Gregory said. “These incidents are happening far too often, and an increasing number of Jews are feeling unsafe and questioning whether they have a future in Australia.”

“The Executive Council of Australian Jewry documented 1,654 antisemitic incidents in Australia between Oct. 1, 2024, and Sept. 30, 2025. This was 20% fewer from previous year but still roughly five times the annual average in the decade before the Hamas-led attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.“
