Vanishing Truths of the Bible: Don't Be Fooled By Prophecy!

Shalom Aleikhem to all our Guests!

"And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate, and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put in their hearts to fulfil His will and to agree, and to give their kingdom unto the Beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled" (Rev 17.16,17).

What on earth is John talking about? This text has produced countless hundreds or even thousands of wild and woolly interpretations -- none of which seem to be correct. On this one text alone confusion exists in abundance.

Here again is a PRIME reason as to why it is imperative to carefully study the prophets (both Major and Minor prophets in the Hebrew Scriptures) because if we neglect to be educated in the Scripture we can certainly appear to be quite helpless and hopeless in our appropriate examination of understanding and of comprehension of the plain truth contained in our New Testament texts -- ALL of which are based entirely on the Hebrew writings.

In Revelation 17, John the apostle is describing a devastating conflagration at the very end of the age -- specifically in the "end of days." John is speaking about a final war that rages among the ten kings -- a humongous civil war in effect. Here in Revelation it's covered by a single text or verse. It signifies something greater than a mere civil conflict, bloody though it be.

This lecture explains the background to this conflict and the role a resurgent Iran will play in it.
