Hi everyone,

The recent call for a Palestinian state by some governments around the world including Australia and stating that they would all “recognise a Palestinian state” at the next UN meeting is all just theatre. It has no real tangible meaning, it does nothing, I repeat nothing to advance such a state. It’s all a false drama by these world leaders who pontificate that their statements in recognising a Pally state will bring about the pressure needed for this terrorist state to materialise.

In my experience, big mouths from big egos get shut down and in this case, US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee is just the very man to do the job. We, here at the BRI/IMCF have great respect for Mike Huckabee and praise President Donald Trump for his highly respected appointment of this man to do a monumentally vital job in Israel.

These other politicians are making loud noises for votes, the votes of their hard Left supporters and colleagues and the votes of Arabs within their countries, appeasing them all the way to the citadels of of prostrated pollies at their feet. They even treat them like dumb idiots (they are not!) in order to gain their support in whatever form that support takes shape.

There are always more than two sides to a story and JNS brings the truth on the other sides to the fore. The clanging of the other side is losing its credibility and Israel must be victorious even while the entire world turns against them.

“Huckabee: ‘Palestine’ statehood drive has had ‘disastrous consequences’.
“ "Unilaterally declaring a Palestinian state is a violation of the Oslo Accords that everybody thought would lead to a Palestinian state," said the diplomat.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee told the BBC on Sunday that the France- and Saudi-led drive to recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations later this month has had “disastrous consequences”.

“ “I wish they would’ve thought about the implications,” Huckabee said in the interview, nothing the move would violate the Oslo Accords signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization in the 1990s.

“ “I don’t know why people don’t understand that unilaterally declaring a Palestinian state is a violation of the Oslo Accords that everybody thought would lead to a Palestinian state,” said the diplomat.

“Huckabee noted that Jerusalem was considering extending its sovereignty to “more parts of Judea and Samaria” in response.

“ “So whatever the thought was, however noble it may have seemed, it has had disastrous consequences that have proven to do exactly opposite of what many of the European countries have thought would be a great idea,” he said.

“Over the weekend, Huckabee told Israel’s Channel 14 News that the United States “has never asked Israel not to apply sovereignty” in Judea and Samaria.

“Huckabee’s statement came on the backdrop of Hebrew-language reports claiming that Washington asked Jerusalem not to advance policies that could harm the Palestinian Authority’s stability.

“Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Thursday, “What you’re seeing with the West Bank and the annexation, that’s not a final thing—that’s something being discussed among some elements of Israeli politics.”

“He went on to say that Washington had harsh words for world leaders who have said that they plan to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state.

“ “We told all these countries, ‘If you guys do this recognition stuff—it’s all fake, it’s not even real,” Rubio told reporters during a diplomatic visit to Quito, Ecuador. “If you do it, you’re going to create really big problems.”

“Huckabee: US never asked Israel not to annex Judea, Samaria.

“The American ambassador shot down reports saying the Trump administration asked Jerusalem not to advance sovereignty at this time.

“ “The United States has never asked Israel not to apply sovereignty” in Judea and Samaria, Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee told broadcaster Channel 14 on Friday.

“Huckabee’s statement came on the backdrop of Hebrew-language reports claiming that Washington asked Jerusalem not to advance policies that could cause harm to the stability of the Palestinian Authority.

“ “I have repeatedly said that the United States respects Israel as a sovereign state and will not tell Israel what to do. That’s also what Secretary of State Rubio said just last week,” Channel 14 quoted the American envoy as saying in response to these reports.

“On Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “abruptly” canceled a Cabinet discussion on a plan to annex part of Judea and Samaria, Channel 14 reported.

“The report provided several reasons for the cancelation, including American pressure not to press forward with this agenda.

“An unnamed Israeli official reportedly said that the meeting was only postposed due to schedule congestion.

“The Washington Post reported on Saturday that an “unusual message” delivered by the United Arab Emirates had prompted Netanyahu and several senior ministers to remove the annexation plan from the Cabinet’s agenda.

“ “Annexation would be a red line for my government, and that means there can be no lasting peace. It would foreclose the idea of regional integration and be the death knell of the two-state solution,” Special Envoy of the Emirati Foreign Ministry Lana Nusseibeh told Hebrew and international media on Tuesday.

“It was reportedly the first time an Emirati official has publicly put under question the Abraham Accords, which the UAE and Bahrain were the first Arab countries to sign onto on Sept. 15, 2020.

“The public message followed several warnings in diplomatic back-channels, which were met with silence by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, according to the Post.

“Asked by reporters on Thursday in Ecuador to comment on this development, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “What you’re seeing with [Judea and Samaria] and the annexation, that’s not a final thing—that’s something being discussed among some elements of Israeli politics. I’m not going to opine on that today.”

“He went on to say that Washington had harsh words for world leaders, who have said that they plan to recognize an independent Palestinian state.

“ “We told all these countries, ‘If you guys do this recognition stuff—it’s all fake, it’s not even real,” Rubio told reporters during the diplomatic visit to Quito, Ecuador. “If you do it, you’re going to create really big problems.”

“Rubio is expected to visit Israel on Sept. 14.”

What a trooper Senator Marco Rubio is for Israel. Another hand picked by the Donald himself, a formidable character who knows his business and has a strong even temper. Alas that we don’t have the likes of any of these characters in our Australian government.  Both sides of the one coin run things here and many Australians look to the United States as a beacon of hope for us. Unfortunately, I don’t see anything the likes of that kind ever happening here, though I am very encouraged to see GB with Nigel Farage gaining traction in the UK. Maybe, just maybe there’s hope for us, too.

Meanwhile, let’s support Israel against the haters, misinformants, disinformants and downright devilish schemes of Hamas through the EU and UN and Soros’ NGO’s.
