UPDATE ON THE CYCLONE HEADING OUR WAY ON SHABBAT

Hi everyone,

We’ve been somewhat rather preoccupied this week with concern and much preparation for this coming Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Last night the rain and lashing winds were very bad. We should be expecting worse we’ve been told as the “beast” (which is what some on the tele are referring to it) will now, probably, might, could make landfall on Saturday morning.

We have sandbagged much of our doorways, bathrooms and over drain holes in case of flooding from below as we live on a water table. Crazy stuff and a time for strong faith to be exercised. Something about “he who builds his house upon the sand” springs to mind 🙄.  But, Father brought us here, He provided because He IS our provision. I learnt yesterday from a neighbour that these older homes built in the 1990’s as this one was, are much sturdier than those that are so cheaply made since then. For that, we are forever grateful to our Savior.

This good article link below explains just where we are at present, what to expect etc. There is much to say about the state of Queensland where the “beast” plans to make landfall, which all applies to us, with more rain and flooding for us. So yeah, pretty bad. For those of you overseas who will be accessing the link below, our little village is not on the map, however, we are north of famous Byron Bay, south of Tweed Heads and east of Murwillumbah. Smack bang in the worst of it.

It’s just a widdle bit scawy. 😬

There is so much going on overseas, the USA, Israel and I’m wanting to post more, but more important matters demand our attention 😊.

For now, it is a waiting game with endurance, alertness and faith in the One above YeHoVaH Father Anochi-I-Source and our blessed Messiah Yeshua.
