WHATEVER HAPPENED TO PEACEFUL POT SMOKING AMSTERDAM?
« on: November 13, 2024, 12:10:25 PM »
Hi everyone,

What I remember about Amsterdam is that the people I knew back in the 1970’s who were blessed enough to travel overseas, and who traveled to Amsterdam as one of their “cultural” visits, said that it was so wonderful and pot could be obtained readily from certain stores. I believe that’s all changed now - while some USA states have gone the other way. Let’s just say from the start, I’m not advocating in this post for the consumption of Maryjane, that’s not my point here, though I’m well aware of its medicinal properties, particularly for cancer patients and others who experience chronic pain.

My point is that the Amsterdam of my youth doesn’t exist anymore. Back in 1974, my good friend left Australia to travel overseas and Amsterdam was just one of her stops. She regaled me of her time there, among other countries through her much anticipated letters that would cheer me, no end. Peace, love, bicycles, windmills and pot were the nature of Amsterdam to all those young folk who landed on their shores from many different countries seeking something spiritual, enhancing and informative. A different way of life, one that at the time was most appealing.

Well, not anymore, particularly if you are Jewish. The recent riots and assaults by a certain minority that thinks it can do what it likes when it comes to “naughty” Israel have created an intolerable situation there and they have no intention of changing their minds, or their ways. To many Jews, it reminded them of a night decades ago in a world that had gone completely against them and sought a “final solution” to what they thought was a “plague of Jews” amongst the good, grand people of Europe.

In this recent case, the very mayor of Amsterdam will NOT even mention the nationality of those “others” who sought to, once again annihilate Jews, just for being Jews. Forget the excuses, the rage against the nation of Israel for its so called “genocide” of Fakestinians, this rage is centuries old and it is not going away anytime soon. For Jews everywhere, this is a crisis with which they are very familiar.

Avi Abelow, once again has his finger on the pulse.

As Avi says and many have reiterated for years, “First they come for the Saturday people. Then they come for the Sunday people.”  It is a well known truthful saying of which we are all too familiar. As a Messianic Believer we need to watch both our backs! But whatever you do, don’t articulate who is a problem.

Our mis- and dis- information laws have gone through the Lower House already, and are on their way to being passed through the Senate. As a Jew and a Christian, I cannot safely utter who my enemies are, I cannot say their names and I cannot say what religious persuasion they belong to, but we all know who I’m talking about.

In the UK and perhaps here and elsewhere shortly, our freedoms to argue with the proposed narrative in whatever form it takes from our governments and their representatives is about to be curbed. But if you’re a Jew, then you’re probably in most people’s firing line because the propaganda machine has been hard at it to discredit ALL Jews for the supposed crimes of some. Imagine if that played out in any other nation or culture. No, it wouldn’t, just the Jews. If you think this isn’t a spiritual issue, you’d be dead wrong. Antisemitism is a spirit and it’s not a beneficent one. More like a malevolent one.

I read this quote the other day:

“The municipality [of Amsterdam] condemned the attacks as antisemitic and vowed to study how they were allowed to happen.”

Are you kidding me?!! We can tell you without your stupid waste of money on a study to discover what you already know but will not utter.

Am Israel Chai!
