New Board / Dr Robert Malone on the Modern Surveillence State
« Last post by Rebbe on June 22, 2023, 10:25:29 AM »
For four decades, East Germany held complete power over almost all aspects of life for people in East Germany. They maintained this domination by use of a secret police force named the Stasi.

The Stasi were one of the most successful intelligence services in history: they kept almost unimaginably detailed files and records on large quantities of the population, and created an atmosphere of fear and unease that they then proceeded to exploit. They created a vast network of unofficial informants to spy on the populace.

In 1990, the Stasi were dissolved when East Germany disintegrated, and there is an ongoing effort to understand all that they knew, did and how they did it.

Governments all over the world are using surveillance data collected on the net, and have now expanded their reach by using COVID-19 tracking technology - just a “conspiracy theorists” had feared would be the case. These governments and NGOs seem to think -in a naive kind of “hope”- that if they only have enough data, they could control the world and bend reality to their objectives.

As had been feared, it now turns out that governments are using the COVID-19 tech to follow, track down, investigate and arrest people for reasons that have nothing to do with COVID. COVID-19 exposure, tracking and contract tracing tools have become all purpose tools for biosecurity surveillance states.

Today, I am highlighting a few recent articles that show how these surveillance states are using COVID-19 tech to monitor, track, investigate and arrest. Forewarned is forearmed, as such tactics could and probably will be used against you.

Police seize on COVID-19 tech to expand global surveillance.
Associated Press, December 20, 2022

The Associated Press (Tech) reports:

“from Beijing to occupied East Jerusalem to Hyderabad, India, and Perth, Australia.”

“Now, from Beijing to Jerusalem to Hyderabad, India, and Perth, Australia, The Associated Press has found that authorities used these technologies and data to halt travel for activists and ordinary people, harass marginalized communities and link people’s health information to other surveillance and law enforcement tools. In some cases, data was shared with spy agencies. The issue has taken on fresh urgency almost three years into the pandemic as China’s ultra-strict zero-COVID policies recently ignited the sharpest public rebuke of the country’s authoritarian leadership since the pro-democracy protests in Tiananmen Square in 1989.

For more than a year, AP journalists interviewed sources and pored over thousands of documents to trace how technologies marketed to “flatten the curve” were put to other uses. Just as the balance between privacy and national security shifted after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, COVID-19 has given officials justification to embed tracking tools in society that have lasted long after lockdowns.

“Any intervention that increases state power to monitor individuals has a long tail and is a ratcheting system,” said John Scott-Railton, a senior researcher at the Toronto-based internet watchdog Citizen Lab. “Once you get it, is very unlikely it will ever go away.”

A brief review some of the findings.

Israel appears to be using COVID-19 tracking data to GPS locate people to protests and threatening them with legal action for their involvement… “Gil Gan-Mor, an attorney with the nonprofit Association for Civil Rights in Israel, estimates that hundreds of Arabs in Jerusalem received the threatening message during the unrest and said the mass text message blast was unprecedented.”

Australia (Perth): “The AP has found that authorities used these technologies and data to halt travel for activists and ordinary people, harass marginalized communities and link people’s health information to other surveillance and law enforcement tools”

China: There are many cited examples within the article, where the health codes have been used to stifle dissent through out China."

The following gallery of screen shots shows (click on the image to expand) documents some of the countries wherein COVID-19 data has been used in ways other than intended (images from the AP article).

Kremlin Planning Database To Track Movement of Conscripts Evading War
Newsweek, December 6, 2022

“… the Russian military, together with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, is taking steps to launch an electronic database by February 2023 documenting the personal details of all servicemen, restricting their movement even when out of uniform.

The "database" is allegedly connect to plans by the Kremlin to conduct another covert mobilization drive in February 2023, and will be rolled out after Putin's initial partial mobilization efforts in September "demonstrated many shortcomings in the inner workings of the military commissariats."

"In order to control the movement of conscripts, a single database of conscript citizens of the Russian Federation is being created," the SSO said in a press release on Monday.

The SSO said the data will be integrated with the databases of Russia's State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (Traffic Service), the Federal Migration Service (FMS), the mandatory pension and health insurance systems of the Russian Federation (SNILS and OMS), as well as the Federal Service of State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr).

According to the intelligence report, Russian employers will be forced to inform military commissariats about conscripted workers. Those who evade mobilization and refuse to provide the necessary data for the registry "will not be provided with public services."

Read that last sentence again.  If these men do not comply with Russian surveillance via tracking devices, they will be denied public services.  Ego: money, banking, transportation, energy, heating, etc. Just to say it, it is very hard to live in a Russian city without heat or money.

When we were in Turkiye last month, we were told that young men from Russia were flooding into Turkiye and with them, their family’s money.  That Turkish real estate market is hot – due to all the Russian men fleeing conscription and that Russians were buying up property in Turkiye to escape the war and recluse in Turkiye.

TikTok Parent Company Admits it Used the App to Track Some Journalists
Thurrott, December 23, 2022

“ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has confirmed after an internal investigation that some of its employees have been using the app to spy on journalists. As reported by Forbes, ByteDance used TikTok to track multiple Forbes journalists who were suspected of leaking information about the company.

The surveillance project has been led by a ByteDance team based in China. This team used IP addresses and user data to check if journalists covering TikTok had been in the same location as ByteDance employees. The report comes just a couple of months after an FCC Commissioner asked Apple and Google to remove TikTok from their mobile app stores over data security concerns.

According to Forbes, ByteDance has laid off Chris Lepitak, its chief internal auditor who was overseeing the company’s surveillance tactics. Song Ye, ByteDance’s head of audit who Lepitak reported to has also left the company.

In an internal email shared with Forbes, ByteDance CEO Rubo Liang apologized and acknowledged that TikTok’s reputation will likely take a hit. “I was deeply disappointed when I was notified of the situation… and I’m sure you feel the same,” Liang wrote in the email. “The public trust that we have spent huge efforts building is going to be significantly undermined by the misconduct of a few individuals. … I believe this situation will serve as a lesson to us all.”

You’d Better Watch Out: The Surveillance State Is Making a List, and You’re On It
CNS News, Dec, 2022

“You’d better watch out—you’d better not pout—you’d better not cry—‘cos I’m telling you why: this Christmas, it’s the Surveillance State that’s making a list and checking it twice, and it won’t matter whether you’ve been bad or good.

You’ll be on this list whether you like it or not.

Mass surveillance is the Deep State’s version of a “gift” that keeps on giving…back to the Deep State.

Consider just a small sampling of the tools being used to track our movements, monitor our spending, and sniff out all the ways in which our thoughts, actions and social circles might land us on the government’s naughty list, whether or not you’ve done anything wrong.”

The article then lists the ways and examples of how they are being used.  This list includes:

Tracking you based on your phone and movements… (think January 6th and COVID-19 monitoring tech)

Tracking you based on your DNA. DNA technology in the hands of government officials completes our transition to a Surveillance State…

Tracking you based on your face: Facial recognition software aims to create a society in which every individual who steps out into public is tracked and recorded as they go about their daily business. Coupled with surveillance cameras that blanket the country, facial recognition technology allows the government and its corporate partners to identify and track someone’s movements in real-time.

Similarly, biometric software, which relies on one’s unique identifiers (fingerprints, irises, voice prints), is becoming the standard for navigating security lines, as well as bypassing digital locks and gaining access to phones, computers, office buildings. Scientists are also developing lasers that can identify and surveil individuals based on their heartbeats, scent and microbiome.

Tracking you based on your behavior: Rapid advances in behavioral surveillance are not only making it possible for individuals to be monitored and tracked based on their patterns of movement or behavior, including gait recognition…

Tracking you based on your spending and consumer activities: Consumer surveillance, by which your activities and data in the physical and online realms are tracked and shared …

Tracking you based on your public activities: …  Defense contractors have been at the forefront of this lucrative market.

Tracking you based on your social media activities…

Tracking you based on your social network: Not content to merely spy on individuals through their online activity, government agencies are now using surveillance technology to track one’s social network, the people you might connect with by phone, text message, email or through social message…

Tracking you based on your car: License plate readers are mass surveillance tools that can photograph over 1,800 license tag numbers per minute, store the tag number and the date, time, and location of the picture in a searchable database, then share the data with law enforcement, fusion centers and private companies to track the movements of persons in their cars…

During COVID-10 almost all of these surveillance programs have been expanded. Governments, even the US Government want us to believe that we have nothing to fear from these mass spying programs, as long as we’ve done nothing wrong.

Don’t believe it.

The government’s definition of a “bad” guy is extraordinarily broad, and it results in the warrantless surveillance of innocent, law-abiding Americans on a staggering scale.

The Twitter files have exposed just how deep the deep state is into tracking, censoring, changing the narrative and how embedded they are in main-stream (state - sponsored) media as well as “big-tech.”

We know that the government has spent more than ten billion dollars to promote these vaccines through social media, entertainment and news. We know that they paid to not only censor, but also to defame.

There is only one hope for our country at this point, and that is to continue to dip into the deep well of wisdom from our constitution. That is what will save our country. The guardian of the integrity our system of government is the judicial system. This is why the corruption of the Department of Justice by the deep state and the executive branch is so dangerous to our republic. We now must rely on our judges to uphold the constitution. Let’s hope they are up to the task.

It is our republic, not our democracy - that offers real solutions to the surveillance state.

Those of us in this movement sometimes forget that for most people, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is a meeting in Davos where the rich and famous like to hang out once a year. They have no idea of what the WEF truly is about and what it has accomplished over the course of the last 50 years. Even those of us who follow the WEF can forget what their true mission is, and how deeply they are involved in crafting the new world order, ergo: The Great Reset.

The truth is that transnationalist companies want control of world governance. The Great Reset is a planned attempt to redistribute all the world’s wealth and power into the hands of corporations, billionaires, banks and and most of all, the World Economic Forum’ leadership. The “Great Reset” plans to use the fourth industrial revolution to further their own ambitious plans of world dominance.

Industry 4.0

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is a term used to refer to the next generation of technological advances; where it is anticipated that the differences between physical, digital and biological technologies disappear. This is a world where machines and computers evolve independently, where new biological entities and evolutionary changes are being controlled by artificial intelligence, where brain waves can be manipulated. It is, quite literally, a brave new world.

It is a world where transhumanism has become a reality. The boundaries between man and machine are blurred. This is the world of nightmares, of a dystopian future of overloads and underlings; of the “technologically augmented” and the “normies.” Of physicals, virtuals, machines, and overlords.

What truly sets Industry 4.0 technologies apart is the novel way in which hardware, software and connectivity are being reconfigured and integrated to achieve ever-more ambitious goals, the collection and analysis of vast amounts of data, the seamless interaction between smart machines, and the blurring of the physical and virtual dimensions of production (Industry Analytics Platform).

To get an idea of how the WEF is using industry 4.0 now, take the example of smart cities. The WEF is using of the threat of “climate change “to drive the development and State/business endorsement of smart cities. These are proposed to be run by the World Economic Forum, who is leading the G-20 to build a “Smart Cities Alliance on Technology Governance.”

The ability to track and control all peoples in a city, to control crime, carbon credits, food, transport, etc. is a future most do not wish to partake in. This is a future which forms the basis of the near term dystopian Spielberg film “Minority Report”. Yet, what choice do us underlings have? Who gets to decide what is right and wrong when the infrastructure is being developed globally and implemented regionally with little or no transparency? Is this just another case of “those with the Gold make the rules”?

Who are the globalist members of the trade organization known as The World Economic Forum (WEF) and the operatives that they have trained, why should you care, and what can you do about it?

Andrew Marshall developed a brief introductory summary which I strongly recommend reading, published in a 2015 article entitled “World Economic Forum: a history and analysis”.

The membership of the WEF is divided into three general categories:

    Regional Partners,

    Industry Partner Groups,

and the most esteemed, the Strategic Partners.

The current 100 WEF full members (“Strategic Partners”) are basically drawn from the largest corporations in the world, together with their owners and managers, who are often referred to as “Davos Man”. The list of “strategic partners” reads like a list of the 100 most woke companies and organizations, which include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Open Society Foundations, Welcome Trust, Blackrock, Bain, Microsoft, Google - it goes on and on. A full list of current Strategic Partners can be found here.

Some of the recent activities of the WEF
The WEF has a strategic partnership with the UN, with the focus being on financing and implementing the 2030 Agenda, climate change, health, digital cooperation, gender equality and empowerment of women, education and skills.

World Economic Forum is leading the G20 “Smart Cities Alliance on Technology Governance.”

The WEF lists 103 Partnerships and Collaborative Arrangements with World Health Organization involvement (updated 2019).

The World Economic is partnering with businesses and governments to engage with the nascent market for blue carbon, the carbon captured and sequestered by ocean ecosystems.

Nine new industrial clusters from Europe, United States and Asia are joining the Transitioning Industrial Clusters towards Net Zero initiative.

Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (WEF) to anticipate, understand and shape the trajectory of technological change for human-centered and society-serving outcomes.

What is the business model of the WEF?

The WEF made up of the largest transnational organizations in the world. This is their lobbying organization. They have basically built a political juggernaut based on advancing corporatist “public-private partnerships” with US, WHO, EU, the five eyes nations (UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA), China/CCP as well as any other countries that will join in their cause (notably Russia has decided to WEFexit- leave the WEF). The political science term “Fascism” has been so weaponized, abused and overused that it has lost much of its utility to describe a category of political systems, but a strong case can be made that this form of corporatism is synonymous with the original intent of the term “Fascism”.

The WEF business model has been to enable its member corporations to create disruptive technologies that will drive markets and increase profits.

This is not about ESG, smart cities, climate change or even human rights. The WEF is about gaining governmental control via corporatism. The WEF is a trade-organization of the largest transnational organizations in the world. Never forget that fact as you read their endless stream of feel-good press releases from the various WEF outlets and acolytes.

The United Nations has played right into their hands. The strategic partnership between the two organizations has led to the control of world wide regulatory processes for new technologies and for global governance. The WEF paints their injection into global politics with pretty words, but the truth is - the WEF is about profit. Control politicians, control governments, control the new world order and increase the profits and control of vital industries. The WEF is a monopolists dream organization, and a quick review of the Strategic Partners list reveals many of the most successful corporate monopolists in recorded history.

The Great Reset and Agenda 2030 are two sides of the same coin. The WEF and the UN are now both strategically and tactically one organization. Their agendas are intertwined. The “G 20” is a creation of the WEF.

The WEF regionally

The WEF regional organizations and members do not act alone, but have developed various groups of globally distributed trainees and graduates, who generally act in accordance with the detailed policies and positions developed and distributed by WEF leadership. The training programs have been operating for over three decades, resulting in placement, distribution and rapid advancement of many thousands of WEF-trained operatives throughout the world.

WEF chairman Klaus Schwab has famously claimed that these operatives have been strategically inserted into key positions in various governments, as well influential positions in important industries such as media, finance, and technology.

The World Economic Forum even has a formal committee of university presidents. Who come together regularly to discus and decide policy at the top universities in the world. These presidents are committed to supporting the World Economic Forum, whose main agenda is “stakeholder capitalism” - another word for corporatism.

Corporatism is a broad concept. It can run the gamut from the hyper-authoritarian version embraced by Mussolini’s Italy to worker-boss structures of the type described by Schwab in postwar western Europe. All forms of corporatism, however, share some common themes.

One is the necessity of limiting market competition in order to preserve social cohesion. Another is mandating cooperation between representative groups of different social and economic sectors – a process overseen and, if necessary, enforced by government officials for the sake of the common good.

What, you might ask, could be wrong with this? The answer is: plenty.

For a start, corporatism – including its Schwabian expression – isn’t big on freedom. It’s all about forming and then maintaining a consensus on economic and social policies. For this reason, corporatism doesn’t cope well with dissent. Indeed, it discourages any questioning of the consensus, whether the issue is tax-rates or climate change.

The language of corporatism, like that of Schwab’s WEF, may be one of coordinated consultation, but the agenda is one of control. For what matters is the harmonisation of views, no matter how absurd the idea and or how high the cost in liberty.

Not only does this generate groupthink. It encourages the marginalisation of those who dispute the consensus. If you have reservations about, say, open borders, don’t be surprised if you are branded a xenophobe. If you decline to have your workforce unionised, you’re likely be labelled a market fundamentalist who treats his employees as mere objects.

Another problem is the collusion and cronyism fostered by corporatism. Corporatist structures facilitate client-patron relations between businesses and governments. That in turn produces insiders and outsiders.

Insiders are those companies who sign up to the consensus, play the corporatist game, and consequently do very well out of their cosy relationships with governments. Outsiders are those who lack the resources to grease the wheel. An example might be the young entrepreneur with a great idea that might revolutionise an entire economic sector but who doesn’t enjoy the political connections. Long-established companies rarely hesitate to use their connections to try and establish regulatory environments, which makes it hard for such entrepreneurs to compete in the marketplace.

Lastly, corporatist-style stakeholder capitalism is decidedly ambivalent about democracy. The emphasis is upon insiders negotiating with each other, and then presenting the populace with a series of faits accomplis about anything ranging from fossil fuels to ESG.

Who are the Young Global Leaders - trained and tasked with carrying out the “Great Reset”?

The Malone Institute, together with the Pharos Media group assembled a complete list of graduates from the 3-5 year program - this list goes back to the founding of the Young Global Leaders program, which is at least 40 years old.

The YGL graduate list has now been updated to include the most recent (2022) list of graduates.

The list of US politicians who are graduates can also be found on the link below:

The Young Global Leaders have been trained to believe in and support a globalist form of unelected government, in which international business is at the center of the management and decision-making process. They have been trained to advance the interests of a global transnational government which represents a public-private partnership in which the business interests of the WEF members take precedence over the constitution of the United States. The WEF believes that the concept of independent nation states is obsolete and must be replaced with a global government which controls all.

They are fundamentally anti-democratic, and their views are both fundamentally corporatist and globalist, which is another way of saying that they are for totalitarian Fascism – the fusion of the interests of business with the power of the state- on a global scale. These graduates may not represent the interests of the nation-state in which they reside, work, and may hold political office, but rather their allegiance appears to be to the WEF vision of a dominant world government which has dominion over nations and their constitutions.

In my opinion, in the case of those trainees and WEF members who are in politics in the USA, and particularly those who have been used to “penetrate the global cabinets of countries” should be forced to register as foreign agents within their host countries.

“ What we are very proud of, is that we penetrate the global cabinets of countries with our WEF Young Global Leaders. (YGL)”

KLAUS SCHWAB (2017) https://www.bitchute.com/video/Md4l9RsMwxr5/

Why should you care?

The WEF has helped mastermind the globally harmonized planning, development and implementation of the lockdowns, mandates, authoritarian vaccine campaigns, suppression of early treatment options, global targeting of dissenting physicians, censorship, propaganda, information and thought control programs which we have all experienced since late 2019.

For instance The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise built the public/private partnerships that allowed lockdowns, travel restrictions, censorship, vaccine passports, etc. to easily become the norm. These plans have not changed, in fact more recent “war games” suggest an even heavier handed response to the “next” public health crisis.

What can you do about it?

After all you have seen and experienced since Winter 2020, please ask yourself these two questions:

“Is this an organization that I can trust with my future and that of my children?”

“Do they represent my interests, values, and what I believe in?”

If you decide that you cannot trust them, or that they do not share your interests and values, then it is time to act.

Some Suggestions:

Do not support politicians that have graduated from the Young Global Leaders Program and expose their affiliations through the use of social media.

Work to elect constitutionalists and small government advocates. That may include volunteering.

Fight any efforts by state and federal governments to create a “stakeholder” economy.

Support efforts to stymie public-private partnerships.

Bring awareness to the cause though social media.

Learn to be self-sufficient. Do not fall into the trap of being dependent on technology.

Do not allow yourself to fall deeply into debt.

    Have redundant systems to survive.

I ask you, my subscribers - what other things do you do, what can we do, to prepare and exist as free people in a world increasingly dominated by globalist totalitarianism? How do we help save this country from falling under the control of the UN and the WEF? How do we, as a nation survive this onslaught?

I Have a Few Questions for Neil deGrasse Tyson Regarding Scientific Consensus

Okay, here we go:

1. Neil, you say you do not care about individual scientists, only in “scientific consensus”. Yet, in Cosmos, did you not detail many instances of individual scientists heroically challenging the consensus view of their time? Would you have sided with the scientific consensus of the time against Copernicus? Galileo? Newton? Darwin? Einstein? Would you have sided with geocentrism, a flat earth, space filled with ether, or medical leeching, since, in their time, those were the prevailing consensus views? Would you have opposed evolution by natural selection, or general relativity, since those represented challenges to the consensus views of their time?

2. You’ve described how Carl Sagan mentored you as a young man and shaped who you were to become as a person. Are you aware of Sagan’s thoughts on the Velikovsky Affair (when the scientific community became rankled and threatened by a wild theorist)? Carl said:

“The worst aspect of the Velikovsky affair is not that many of his idea were wrong or silly or in gross contradiction to the facts. Rather, the worst aspect is that some scientists attempted to suppress Velikovsky’s ideas. The suppression of uncomfortable ideas may be common in religion or in politics, but it is not the path to knowledge, and there is no place for it in the endeavor of science.”

—Carl Sagan, Broca’s Brain (emphasis mine)

Do you agree with your mentor on this, Neil?

3. What is the status of a scientist who is in possession of knowledge or evidence which, if widely known, would counter or upset the prevailing consensus view? Should they be suppressed or silenced? Should they self-censor for fear of their career, livelihood or repercussions to their family? How would the history of scientific thought be different if that were true? What might we still believe? Do you realize that every advancement we experience as a species, whether scientific, technological, moral or legal,  represents a challenge to an earlier consensus?

4. Is it possible for a group of humans, even very educated humans, to be in error? Can we collectively believe, for example, that the Earth is flat? Or that the entirety of the heavens rotates around a central Earth? Or that space is made of ether? Are humans, even scientists, prone to faulty reasoning, ignoring evidence, wishing, prejudice, close-mindedness, territoriality, financial corruption, jealousy, professional backstabbing, biases, ideological blind spots, or being just plain mistaken? Shouldn’t these humans, therefore, even though they possess scientific credentials, be challengeable?

5. When there are forces guiding consensus that have nothing to do with truth, is it still “science”? Is it possible for scientific institutions, research facilities, regulatory bodies, academic journals, or schools to be captured by interests other than the pursuit of truth (e.g., financial gain, prestige, political ideology, state pressure, funding threats, etc.)? Are you aware of studies paid for by cigarette manufacturers, for example, which “prove” the harmlessness of smoking? Do you see these influences as antithetical to the pursuit of true science? Should we question the scientific findings of these bodies when we suspect them of being captured by bad actors or nefarious influences, or must we simply accept their findings because they occur under the guise of “science”?

6. Does science involve debate, disagreement, dissent? Isn’t science supposed to encourage dissent, rather than discourage it? Can science be honestly said to be taking place where there is an atmosphere of silencing or punishment for anyone who disagrees? How can science “self-correct” as Carl Sagan puts it, if everyone must agree with what was said before them?

“Reasoned criticism of a prevailing belief is a service to the proponents of that belief; if they are incapable of defending it, they are well advised to abandon it. This self-questioning and error-correcting aspect of the scientific method is its most striking property… the idea of science as a method rather than as a body of knowledge is not widely appreciated outside of science, or indeed in some corridors inside of science.”

—Carl Sagan, Broca’s Brain

7. Are certain scientific subjects taboo or forbidden to challenge? If so, which ones? And on whose authority?  Don’t we already have a name for immutable knowledge handed down from on high by an authority? (Religion). Isn’t  challengeability why we regard scientific knowledge claims as superior to say, knowledge by revelation? If it is forbidden to challenge certain scientific views then what is the point of peer review? What is the point of scientific conferences or debates (many of which I have seen you take part in)? Are you aware of the Carl Sagan quote which says:

“Science has no sacred truths; all assumptions must be critically examined; arguments from authority are worthless.” (Cosmos)

Or:

“Science is self-correcting. The most fundamental axioms and conclusions may be challenged. The prevailing hypotheses must survive confrontation with observation. Appeals to authority are impermissible.” (Broca’s Brain)

Are you aware of the following Richard Feynman quotes?

“Scientific knowledge is a body of statements of varying degrees of certainty — some most unsure, some nearly sure, none absolutely certain.“

    —Richard Feynman

And:

“I would rather have questions that can’t be answered than answers that can’t be questioned.”

    —Richard Feynman

And:

“Don’t pay attention to authorities, think for yourself.”

    —Richard Feynman

Did Richard Feynman, or Carl Sagan, misunderstand something about science, in your view?

8. Does critical thinking consist of simply agreeing with whatever the majority says is true? Or does it involve challenging prevailing views and seeing whether something stands up to the light of one’s own reason? Should we train young scientists to simply go along with whatever the herd thinks, or should we teach them to think for themselves?

9. Have you, Neil, ever disagreed with a majority or consensus view on anything? Have you disagreed with anyone, whether majority or not? Did you enjoy and exercise the right of voicing your disagreement with that view? Did the person you disagreed with have the right to silence you, simply because they thought you were wrong?

10. Have you, Neil, ever been wrong about anything and modified an earlier position or changed your mind completely? Do other people besides you also deserve that right? Or must they always go along with whatever an authority, or a majority, says?

11. Is the truth whatever we collectively decide it is? Is truth determined by a committee? By a majority vote? Are majorities ever wrong? (e.g., the majority of the world once believed in, and profited from, human slave trade). Don’t some majorities need to be challenged by freethinking dissenters? Should the force of law be used to silence these dissenters? Do you know that Argumentum ad populum is an informal logical fallacy in nearly every logic textbook ever published? If a majority of Americans wanted to reinstate slavery, and it passed through the executive and legislative branches, presumably you would agree to that, since it was a “consensus”?

12. Are minority opinions always wrong? Does a minority view ever get to be heard or must it be silenced? If five out of nine Supreme Court Justices vote to overturn the 1st amendment, or the 13th, or the 15th, are they automatically correct, and the remaining four wrong? When does a majority become a “consensus”? 6-3? 7-2? 8-1? If nine out of nine Justices agreed and voted for something that you considered to be morally reprehensible and illegal, would you be wrong to protest them? Should you be silenced or prevented from doing so, since they achieved a consensus?

13. Does scientific policy, when we discover it to be wrong, need to have the ability to course-correct? Or should we remain locked into our initial course of action, regardless of outcomes, even if we subsequently discover our initial course to be wrong, or poorly reasoned, or based on bad information, or bad actors, or we discover that it leads to enormous destruction and loss of human life? Do scientists need to have the ability to have an ongoing discussion, and debate, about policy? Does the refusal to back down from error, or to accept challenges to authority, help or harm the cause of science? Have you seen the series Chernobyl?

14. Should government officials dictate what “acceptable science” is to the scientists? Should government prevent life-saving procedures from being performed, or life-saving products from being available? Should it use law enforcement agencies to dictate what scientists can and cannot say? Should it use military and intelligence agencies to bar scientific discussion from taking place over social media? If those agencies are captured by nefarious forces, might that be bad for science, and more broadly for the public who are then subject to those forces’ decisions? Are you aware that there were Nazi scientists who believed they had full scientific justification for carrying out the atrocities they did? If science is always righteous why do we have such a concept as “research ethics”? Why did we draft the Nuremburg Code? Is it possible that a highly corrupted system might use “Follow the Science” as a tool of manipulation, to get people to go along with, or to justify, something monstrously immoral and incorrect?

What do you think? Does anyone have any more questions for Neil that I might have missed?

New Board / Marjorie Taylor Greene Sounds Alarm: Biden to Introduce Digital Dollar
« Last post by Rebbe on April 12, 2023, 02:04:55 PM »
(SNews) – Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has raised the alarm about Democrat President Joe Biden’s plans to replace physical cash with a “digital dollar.”

As Slay News has previously reported, Biden recently ordered the Federal Reserve to push forward with plans for a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

The move to digital cash raises major concerns about the lack of privacy and increased government control and surveillance over public spending.

In Biden’s vision, the digital currency will “advance democracies to lift people up, not to hold them down.”

However, a digital currency that’s controlled by the government is a tyrannical nightmare that is fresh out of George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984.”

The Biden administration will soon begin rolling out an upcoming CBDC payment system called FedNow.

The federal government-controlled payment system will effectively control how people spend their money.

Congresswoman Greene fired back at the plan and called for a return to the gold standard.

“We should go back to the gold standard, not digital currency payment systems. Hard pass,” she tweeted.

The Fed has been planning some form of a CBDC over the last several years.

However, the privately held banking consortium announced Wednesday it would release its digital currency in July in response to the ongoing banking crisis.

The move comes as numerous nations pull away from the U.S. Dollar.

From CNBC:

“With the launch drawing near, we urge financial institutions and their industry partners to move full steam ahead with preparations to join the FedNow Service,” said Ken Montgomery, the program executive and first vice president at the Boston Fed, which helped spearhead the project under former Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren.

Institutions that participate in the program will have seven-day, 24-hour access, as opposed to a system currently in place that closes on weekends.

CNBC then touted the utility of the Fed’s CBDCs, claiming it will be much easier in the future to infuse newly-printed dollars into the bank accounts of Americans similar to how they received helicopter money during the COVID pandemic.

“Program advocates say it will get money out to people much more quickly,” CNBC reported.

“For instance, they said, government payments like those issued in the early days of the Covid pandemic would have been credited to accounts immediately rather than the days it took to reach most people.”

That Fed program saw $7 trillion new dollars injected into America’s money supply.

The money-printing has resulted in historic and sustained inflation since 2021.

In other words, the Fed is presenting a “solution” to a problem that it originally started.

Biden’s 2024 Democrat challenger Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has also issued a warning about shifting to a “digital dollar.”

“A CBDC tied to digital ID and social credit score will allow the government to freeze your assets or limit your spending to approved vendors if you fail to comply with arbitrary diktats, i.e. vaccine mandates,” Kennedy tweeted in response to the Fed’s announcement.

The Fed just announced it will introduce its “FedNow” Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in July. CBDCs grease the slippery slope to financial slavery and political tyranny. While cash transactions are anonymous, a #CBDC will allow the government to surveil all our private…

One in Six People Around the World Are Infertile: WHO Report
By Nina Nguyen for Epoch Times
April 4, 2023

Infertility affects one in six people worldwide—around 17.5 percent of the adult population—according to a new report published by the World Health Organisation.

The report shows little variation in the prevalence of infertility in high, middle and low-income countries. Lifetime prevalence was 17.8 percent in high-income countries and 16.5 percent in low- and middle-income nations.

In a statement released on April 4, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the report “reveals an important truth— infertility does not discriminate.”

He noted that the many affected people show the urgent need to widen access to fertility treatment.

He also said it’s important to ensure the issue is “no longer sidelined in health research policy so that safe, effective and affordable ways to attain parenthood are available for those who seek it.”

Infertility is a disease of the male or female reproductive system, defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after one year or longer of unprotected sexual intercourse.

The disease has significant negative social and psychological impacts on the lives of infertile couples, particularly women. It may lead to diminished self-esteem, feelings of failure and hopelessness, grief and loss of future plans, anger and social stigma.

Heavy Financial Costs

The study, titled “Financial costs of assisted reproductive technology for patients in low and middle-income countries: a systematic review,” was published on Human Production Open on March 1, 2023.

The paper, which examines the financial consequences of infertility, found that fertility treatments are largely funded out of pocket in most countries.

However, people in the poorest countries spend a greater proportion of their income on fertility care compared to those in richer countries.

“In addition, when using average income as a maker of affordability, patients spent approximately half of their average annual income on one ART cycle in countries with mechanisms for government financing,” the research said.

“In contrast, in countries with no mechanisms for financing, the cost for one cycle was even more than double their average annual income.”

The research also emphasised the need for financing and regularity frameworks in low and middle-income countries because these affect pricing and affordability.

It also called for greater availability of national data on infertility disaggregated by age and by cause to help with quantifying infertility, as well as knowing who needs fertility care and how risks can b reduced.

“Millions of people face catastrophic healthcare costs after seeking treatment for infertility, making this a major equity issue and, all too often, a medical poverty trap for those affected,” said Dr Pascale Allotey, Director of Sexual and reproductive health and Research at WHO.

“Better policies and public financing can significantly improve access to treatment and protect poorer households from falling into poverty as a result.”

13 Years Ago Julian Assange Published Collateral Murder: Now He Faces 175 Years For Exposing War Crimes
Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange has been in prison for several years experiencing torture while he awaits possible extradition to the United States. All this for exposing truth.

by Arjun Wallia for the Pulse 6th April 2023 at Substack

Two US Apache helicopters participated in the unprovoked slaying of 11 Iraqi people including two Reuters journalists. Two young children involved in the incident were also seriously wounded.

As a result of exposing this and various other warcrimes, Julian Assange faces a 175 year jail sentence if extradited to the US.

After the video was released one of the soldiers involved in the incident, Ethan McCord, shared the following:

“If you feel threatened in any way, you’re able to engage that person. Many soldiers felt threatened just by the fact that you were looking at them, so they fired their weapons on anybody that was looking at them because they (I) felt threatened. We were told if we were to fire on anybody, and if it were to be investigated, that ‘officers will take care of you.’ ”

“We were told by our battalion commander to kill every m***** f****** on the street. Many soldiers would not do that, we decided we were going to shoot into the rooftops of buildings because, if you didn’t fire, the NCOs in your platoon would make your life hell.”

“This happens on a daily basis, destroying vans full of children, the destruction of the Iraqi people happens on a daily basis.”

For those of you who don’t know, Assange is the founder of Wikileaks, an organization that obtained genuine classified documents from various sources. These documents exposed various war, environmental, financial and other crimes by multiple governments around the world, especially the United States.

They also revealed the corruption within the intimate relationships between big multinational corporations, whether it be pharmaceutical or big food companies, and agencies like the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). In short, many of these documents exposed unethical and immoral actions by powerful entities that are tasked to serve the people.

Assange was charged under the Espionage Act and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, largely for actions rightfully recognized as protected news-gathering practices.

Assange has been held in prison in the United Kingdom for several years, subjected to torturous treatment while the US attempts to to extradite him to face criminal charges.
Unprecedented Events

For the first time in history the US government has brought criminal charges against a publisher for the publication of truthful information. This establishes a dangerous precedent that can be used to target all news organizations that hold the government accountable by publishing its secrets. And it’s equally dangerous for journalists who uncover the secrets of other nations.

Over the past few years we’ve seen an unprecedented amount of censorship of independent media outlets who present truthful information that calls into question government narratives. This effort continues to gain momentum and strength.

The Espionage Act was originally intended for use against spies, but it’s now being used against journalists and whistleblowers. These charges against Assange threaten to criminalize reporting in the United States and around the world.

Proponents of Assange’s extradition would argue that he threatened national security. We would argue, as would many others, that national security has become an umbrella term to censor information that exposes unethical and immoral actions of corporations and governments. It’s simply used as an excuse to justify these actions for ulterior motives, be it financial or political gain, while simultaneously deeming these actions as necessary and good for the collective.

When I write about Julian Assange I always like to share a hard-hitting quote from Nils Melzer, Human Rights Chair of the Geneva Academy of Int. Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, Prof of Int. Law at the University of Glasgow, UN Rapporteur on Torture and Other Inhumane or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

“How far have we sunk if telling the truth becomes a crime? How far have we sunk if we prosecute people that expose war crimes for exposing war crimes? How far have we sunk when we no longer prosecute our own war criminals? Because we identify more with them, than we identify with the people that actually expose these crimes. What does that tell about us and about our governments? In a democracy, the power does not belong to the government, but to the people. But the people have to claim it. Secrecy disempowers the people because it prevents them from exercising democratic control, which is precisely why governments want secrecy.”

WikiLeaks’ threat to the powerful was recognized and every effort was and is being made to criminalize anonymous leaking, and basically make it extremely taboo to question big government on any major geopolitical/world issue.

“Julian was just doing his job, which was to publish the truth about wrongdoing. His loyalty is the same as that which all journalists should have: to the public. Not to the spy agencies of a foreign power. He published evidence that the country that is trying to extradite him committed war crimes and covered them up; that it committed gross violations that killed tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children; that it tortured and rendered; that it bombed children, had death squads, and murdered Reuters journalists in cold blood; that it bribed foreign officials and bullied less powerful countries into harming their own citizens, and that it also corrupted allied nations’ judicial inquiries into US wrongdoing.”

    - Stella Moris, Assange’s wife

At the heart of any meaningful action in our world is our ability to make sense of reality and unite on a direction. The problem we face in sense-making is breaking down as we are shutting out balanced inquiry and pretending that anyone who opposes an idea in the mainstream is just operating off of ‘misinformation.’ How can we even make sense of what’s going on in our world if there is no transparency?

New Board / Historic Times Ahead for Children's Health Defense
« Last post by Rebbe on April 12, 2023, 01:35:09 PM »
We’re living in unprecedented times. Government corruption, health freedom, vaccine safety and censorship are now kitchen-table conversations among millions nationwide and around the world following three years of unrelenting government-sponsored censorship.

Millions of people are waking up to the real threat of forever losing freedoms to authoritarian industry-influenced governments if we fail to act. Children’s Health Defense (CHD) will do everything in its power to stop the abuse from tyrannical government leaders and public health officials who continue to put profits over people and ignore our inalienable, fundamental human rights.

Propelling the Movement Forward

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. filed with the Federal Election Commission Wednesday, April 5, as he considers running for President of the United States of America. Because of his decision to devote full time to his campaign, Mr. Kennedy’s title is now Children’s Health Defense Chairman on Leave. As part of his life’s work, he will continue to address CHD's core issues — corruption, children's declining health, failures of vaccine safety and more.

Kennedy said:

“My top priority is to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has ruined our economy, shattered the middle class, polluted our landscapes and waters, poisoned our children, and robbed us of our values and freedom. This is central to CHD’s mission. I launched this organization after parents concerned about the meteoric rise in childhood chronic diseases approached me time and time again, urging me to look beyond what mainstream media and government health agencies were telling the public about what was causing these increases. After carefully reviewing the science, it was clear to me that vaccines and other toxic environmental exposures were inextricably linked to rising rates of autism, allergies, autoimmune disorders and a host of other conditions. I knew I could never turn my back on the children and families so profoundly affected by these exposures. My commitment to health freedom, preventing future injuries, unmasking those responsible and holding them accountable will never diminish. It will remain a driving force in all I do.”

In taking this step forward, long-time colleague Mary Holland will join RFK, Jr. as part of the campaign. Ms. Holland’s titles will now be CHD's President on Leave and General Counsel on Leave.

Holland said:

“The health freedom movement has everything — truth, science, ethics, law — except power. It is time for CHD's issues to take the spotlight. I believe that RFK, Jr.'s campaign will play a crucial role in this shift to center stage. And I believe CHD is now stronger than ever. CHD's board and staff have been on the frontlines for decades and are eager to take on these new opportunities as the American public becomes more aware of our critical mission and vision.”

Expanding Leadership

While RFK, Jr. and Holland will be on leave, CHD is poised to remain at the forefront of the health freedom movement. In Holland’s absence, my position as Executive Director is now CHD’s Acting President. I have been with CHD since its first day and have been a part of this important movement for 30 years. I believe our mission is one of the most critical in the world. I’m proud to stand with each one of you.

To fulfill the other part of Holland’s job, Kim Mack Rosenberg, Esq., litigator, long-time advocate and co-author of “The HPV Vaccine on Trial,” has joined the team as CHD’s Acting General Counsel.

In February 2023, CHD expanded its executive team by adding Chief Operating Officer Andrew Pek, who brings new executive management to CHD's infrastructure.

CHD Board Member Kay Sullivan has embraced the role of Vice Chair.

CHD Remains Steadfast in Our Mission

Our work will continue with unwavering dedication and resolve from our staff and board, who are intensely focused on our mission to end childhood health epidemics by working aggressively to eliminate harmful exposures, hold those responsible accountable and establish safeguards to prevent future harm. CHD fights corruption, mass surveillance and censorship that put profits before people as well as advocates for worldwide rights to health freedom and bodily autonomy.

CHD will:

Educate and inform with The Defender newsletter, CHD TV, our book publishing series, CHD Films and our awareness and advocacy campaigns, sharing meticulously-researched and trusted information that inspires action.

Continue to make an impact in local communities by amplifying the voices of activists as we grow to nearly 30 CHD chapters worldwide, spearheading changes in policies by leaders at the national, state and local levels.

Bring accountability through litigation of our 50+ active lawsuits that can have massive, life-changing impacts on CHD supporters and the world:

Class Action lawsuit RFK, Jr. et al. v Biden et al.
        Trusted News Initiative (TNI)
        Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
FOIA action against FDA, CDC, HHS and NIH et al.

While significant changes are afoot, the CHD Team has never been more optimistic about our future and the movement. We will finally see our issues illuminated, educating millions of new people in the process. We remain committed to our mission and know that, with your actions and support, we can create the beautiful world our hearts and minds know is possible.

In gratitude,

Laura Bono

New Board / Australia Discreetly Discontinues AstraZeneca COVID Vaccine

Australia Discreetly Discontinues AstraZeneca COVID Vaccine
Jessie Zhang
Reporter, Epoch Times

The Australian government has quietly removed approval from the Vaxzevria AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, which has been linked to the rare but serious side effect of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia (TTS) involving blood clots combined with low levels of blood platelets.

The federal health department updated its website to advise that the vaccine developed in the United Kingdom by Oxford University “is no longer available as an approved vaccine” as of March 20, 2023.

There were eight deaths in Australia confirmed to be from TTS following the AstraZeneca vaccine, according to a June 2022 report by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the Australian government’s medicine and vaccines authority.

he AstraZeneca vaccine was approved for use as a first and booster dose in Australia from Feb. 2021 and Feb. 2022 respectively.

From Oct. 2021, it was available by request only, in favour of the newer mRNA vaccines such as Pfizer and Moderna and Novavax.

AstraZeneca was also not recommended to people under the age of 60 years, citing blood clotting risk among younger individuals after taking it.

Australia Follows Other Countries on Suspension

Initially promised to be “highly safe and effective”, countries began to suspend AstraZeneca in 2021 after research suggested “disappointing” results against new variants and its causal link with rare but severe incidents, including low platelet counts, blood clots, and hemorrhages.

South Africa was the first country to suspend and subsequently cancel its rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine after data revealed that the vaccine provided inadequate protection against infection among young people.

On March 11, 2021, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland stated that they would suspend the vaccine entirely until they had more evidence of potential side effects. Other countries, including Romania, Ireland, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Spain (pdf), and many more, also applied temporary suspensions to the batch.

By April 7, 2021, the European Medicines Agency safety committee had listed unusual blood clots with low blood platelets as a very rare side effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

After the update on side effects, Norway and Denmark suspended the vaccine, with the Norwegian government deciding, after an expert committee’s broader assessment on the safety of the vaccine, to completely cease administrating the vaccine from May 12.

The committee concluded that “the risk of dying after vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine would be higher than the risk of dying from the disease, particularly for younger people.”

Australia’s health department confirmed the phasing out of the vaccine was due to the availability of newer options.

‘This was not a decision based on safety as some people have misrepresented on social media,” a spokesperson said.

“As expected, first-generation vaccines have been superseded by newer vaccines targeting the strains of the virus now circulating.”

“The AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine remains provisionally approved by the TGA. However, the sponsor made a commercial decision with respect to the supply of AstraZeneca vaccine in Australia.
